click to see the same thing on youtube- get yo face excited!
I absolutely adore listening to film music. :) makes me haaaappy
This is from Kill Bill (it's the opening song)
Nancy Sinatra's voice is so hauntingly beautiful.
Here are some other film music songs I've been listening to (check it out if you've got a spare minute):
-Concerning Hobbits (Lord of the Rings)
-La Valse (Amelie)
-Misirlou (Pulp Fiction)
-Forest Gump theme
-Superman theme
-Ice Dance (Edward Scissorhands)
-Honor Him (Gladiator)
-Clubbed to Death (The Matrix)
-King of Pride Rock (Lion King)
:)
an old sketch from years back
I used my own hand as a model- this was back in the day when i had a fascination with hands. :)
[btw you can see writing on the other side because this was drawn on scrap paper...]
Enjoy

Monsters Inc. 2??
Apparently it's been confirmed by Pixar... I'm not sure whether to get excited- I'm slightly worried it'll ruin the first film for me. Monsters Inc. is a definite contender for my all time favourite movie of all time!

Drawing with Erasers
I haven't drawn anything in a very long time (talking months here). So i thought, since I cannot make myself focus on studying- although i should be desperately plowing through as much work as i can humanly handle at this point- i thought I'd sit myself down and draw something.
Today i was in a peculiar mood and decided I'd take a slightly different approach. Instead of placing dark marks on a white page, I would do the opposite? I'm not sure if this qualifies as drawing using negative spaces. Anyway I snapped some pictures with the iphone that is currently in my possession. :) I have placed the photos i took below. The process is pretty self explanatory.
The final product is far from complete or perfect. However it achieved it's purpose which was as a creative and therapeutic outlet. From start (putting pencil to paper) to finish (signing it off), this took approximately 40 mins. I can never draw for more than 1 hour- so everything I draw is always one fast burst of sketching. I think i may have attention-deficit disorder...
Oh by the way, this is supposed to be a stylistic interpretation of Harvey Dent (of Batman literature), better known as Two-Face. Our favourite coin flipping maniac.
