okay, so ... hmm, didn't realise i could access my blog from school.

It's 9:00am, i'm sitting in the common room. I was 15mins late for my 8:30am lesson.
Apparently nobody did very well yesterday in the practice exam, so our Chemistry teacher's a bit upset about that... the highest grade being a very low D.
As a result, we're sitting here in silence attempting to cram all this info into our brains for an exam after Easter..Joy.

I awoke at 8:20am, I haven't had breakfast, i have a headache, i seemingly got dressed in the dark, and i don't know my lines for a drama performance tonight (that we've only had 1 proper rehearsal for...)

Apart from that- all is peachy. No seriously, i appreciate everything. It's just the little things that hit you on a wednesday morning... i guess.

Anyway, I'm off to make some tea and hopefully do something constructive in this free time...

My 18th Birthday

So, this thursday was mine and my sister's birthday. She's turning 23 (i know, our birthday is on the same day.. crazy right?!) So to celebrate my new adulthood she took me out with her friends and inducted me to the life of clubbing. As of saturday i was a clubbing virgin- but now that i've been initiated and i have to say... it's sooooooooo much fun!!! omg!

Kick-Ass

I was given the graphic novel for my birthday. It's pretty brilliant!!! Very violent. I think the film is out now too so that should be interesting (apparently it stays 90% true to the original comic) so I'm excited!

My favourite hero from the comic: Hit-Girl, one of the best comic book characters i've read about in a long time. She also happens to be seriously kick-ass!

ALMOST 18!!!!!

In less than two hours I will be 18 years old. WOW!
(well technically 5-6 hours since i was born at 3-something in the morning...)

I'm so excited! I've been resisting it for so long (18 means being an adult which equals responsibility)

But as of 2 days ago, i feel ready for it.

Yup, spent hours baking today. Totally worth it though! I also tried doing the icing in letters- i didn't have all that professional stuff cake-makers have.. so my sister had the idea of using greaseproof paper. The results can be seen... :)

3 Chemistry Lessons in a row...

3... in a row.. I've missed 3 chemistry lessons, in a row.

So, not the best day today...

-Stayed up til 3:00am watching Grey's Anatomy with my sister (on a school night... it's just so good!)
-went to bed at 4:30am- trying to catch up on the 2 chemistry lessons i'd missed last week due to being a tardy ass.
-set mobile phone alarm to 7:00am for 8:30am start
-woken by mum at 8:45am... (stupid phone didn't work or something, again...)
-missed first chemistry lesson
-late to violin lesson at 9:30am, lesson turned out to not be so good as i am not at all prepared for my violin 6 grading in TWO WEEKS!!
-told by chem classmates that our chem teacher wants to see me... (this is bad!)
-sulked in maths
-went to find teacher (she wasn't there)
-went to rest of lessons
-ranted to my friends about how i have a time-keeping problem (i have now been promised all sorts of alarms and watches for my b-day! lol..)
-went to look for teacher again (not there)
-prefect meeting about school prom

and now i'm sitting here with a severe headache because i haven't slept properly for the past month...

Oh the joys my life!!

Stardust

Yup, it was on tv the other day! Love this film for some reason...
It's either because I really like their costumes (Charlie Cox's outfit = awesomeness!!!) or because the music rocks. Maybe i just watched it through so i could hear Take That singing Rule the World in the credits. By far my favourite Take That song!
Also, the actual theme music of the film is just amazing. The power of film music..

Joanne the Loner...

It's been quite a while dear blog...

I feel that i've become quite the loner and stuff... but perhaps i'm just being dramatic.

Here's an update:
-I've done a series of uni interviews
-Gotten rejected from one and received an offer from another one
-I've gotten drunk for the very first time...
-Had a series of arguments and stuff with quite close friends... which has made me rethink myself as a person and the people i can truly call friends.

Uhm, that is all i can think of.

Also i have a violin concert i'm performing at this saturday. (So tomorrow, as it is 1:49am, Friday) And i can't even play my piece through properly....


And i haven't been sleeping properly for the past few weeks.

So, indeed- life is peachy at the moment!
